Highpark Babe is how it all started for me. Babe is Chip the teeny tiny highpark’s sire as well.
I then found a miniature highland to breed with Babe’s daughters and I have been creating nonchondro F1 Highpark breeding stock since 2021.
Babe was purchased from ‘Carrousel Country Miniatures‘ in Ennis TX.

Mowgli the Little Highland Sire
- I documented Mowgli’s height and teeth. He was between 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 years old at 43”. It is very possible dexter was used to create his nonchondro fluffy toy-highland plushie appearance. I’ve been using him to create F1 breeding stock HighPark heifers since 2021 when he was well under 40”.

Bleu Boy the new Sire
Bleu Boy is a Chondro positive high percentage mini highland cross,purchased from ‘Miniature Cattle at Carrousel Country Miniatures’. He’s over 6 years old, measured at 40” in April,2024. Bleu Boy’s genetic line has micro-sized genes that comes through when paired with a Dam who also has miniature genetics in her making. When both genes are expressed ,a micro fluffy calf is born. His genetic line has proven to produce them from time to time over the years at his previous ranch.
I got to meet Bleu Boy’s dam the day I brought Bleu Boy home. It’s not often I have seen beautifully aged horns on a cow that size, proving micro highland crosses exist.

Tiny Diamond
Tiny Diamond is chondro+ and measured 39” at 2 years old. She is polled,fluffy and I will test to see what color she is. Her Sire is Leonardo from Hairy Heifers and a polled,Dunn highdex or highway cross. She is Valentino’s Dam.
Highpark Rose
Rose is the daughter of Mowgli and Mooly. She measured 44” at 3 1/2 years old. Rose had a heifer calf named Francesca.
Melody
Melody is a 33” at 10 month old chondro+ highland cross. Birthdate: January 8,2025.
Her Sire is Bleu Boy and Dam is Cindy. She won’t be breeding for a few more years. I have a while to find the proper bull for her.
Highpark Babe’s daughter Mooly
Mooly was born July 2,2020. Milly and Mooly were born one day a part. Highpark Babe sired both of them. She keeps the highland fur on her calves as well as her calves are guaranteed to be white, which makes her a keeper.

Holly is a chondro+ highland cross.
Birthdate: 12-02-24. Her Sire is Mowgli and Dam is Milly. She was 10 months old in this photo standing to the right of Valentino.
Apple & Holly
Apple and Holly are full-blooded sisters and are 1 year apart in age. Their parents are Mowgli and Milly. Milly’s sire Highpark Babe and Mowgli’s small genetics came together for Holly.
