Mini Highpark Babe
Mini Highpark Babe left me 2 Highpark heifers before he disappeared from my property. Babe is ‘Chip the teeny tiny highpark’s sire as well.
I then found a miniature highland to replace Babe and I have been creating nonchondro F1 Highpark breeding stock for the next future chondro+ Highpark herdsire since 2021.
Once you scroll past Mowgli the mini highland bull, you will see what chondro + Highpark bull I’ve been using in the last 1 1/2 years. Both were purchased from ‘Carrousel Country Miniatures‘ in Ennis TX.

- I documented Mowgli’s height and teeth with dates on the photos. He was between 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 years old at 43”. I’ve been using him to create F1 breeding stock HighPark heifers since 2021 when he was well under 40”.

Bleu Boy the new Sire
Bleu Boy is a Chondro positive high percentage mini highland,purchased from ‘Miniature Cattle at Carrousel Country Miniatures’. He’s over 6 years old, measured at 40” in April,2024. His ears are slightly flat at the tips due to crop ear. Bleu Boy’s genetic line has micro-sized genes that comes through when paired with a Dam who also has miniature genetics in her making. When both genes are expressed ,a micro fluffy calf is born. His genetic line has proven to produce them from time to time over the years at his previous ranch. Because of that, mild crop ear is a nonissue.

Tiny Diamond in late 2025, is now a 2 year old Chondro+ polled silver mini highland cross. Here she is as a weanling with her Dunn,polled highland cross Dam who was inseminated with a Leonardo straw from Hairy Heifer Cattle Company. Tiny Diamond’s genetic combination between her parents is why I invested in her. She will eventually be bred back to my silver highland bull named Falkor to offer more polled, high % mini highlands in the future.
